This project aims to strengthen remote communities in Bangladesh through the encouragement and education of young people. This is done by providing them access to a high quality education and by teaching them, in addition to the official government curriculum, character building as well as educating them in their rights and obligations. The program is aimed at children and young adults who otherwise would not have access to formal education. The support these young people receive results in increased autonomy and earning opportunities, particularly for girls in the community for whom it is more difficult to continue education away from home.

The ATOZ Foundation has decided to support Friendship Luxembourg on this project through financing construction and teacher training for one school located on an alluvial island of the Brahmaputra River in Northern Bangladesh.
