ATOZ Foundation is proud to support La Maison de l’Education initiated by PADEM to fight against early work and drop-out of school by girls in Ziguinchor.

The girls supported by this project had previously been working in dangerous conditions and exposed to violence, preventing them from attending a school course. Due to the help they received they can now receive an education and begin generating income for themselves and their families.

Another objective of the project is to help mothers to develop an income-generating activity which has an impact on their independence and develop their self-esteem and those around them.

Development of activities also allow families to support scholarship fees. One of the main objectives of this project is to ensure autonomy of families and communities.
